Cooking in the Alpilles
In the heart of Provence, I want to propose an experience all about cooking, food and wine traditions here in southern France. After attending the local market, meeting the farmers and tasting some of our best regional products, we’ll attend my aunts fabulous countryside Mas for a hands on cooking class and a typical Provencal lunch. With the freshest seasonal ingredients, we’ll prepare your favorite recipes in a friendly, relaxed and authentic atmosphere. Some of the most famous Provence recipes : Asperges aux truffes, Beignets de fleur de courgette, Daube Provençale, Ratatouille, Petits farcis, Artichauts en Barigoule, Tarte aux pignons,… (Beef & wine casserole, vegetable Ratatouille, Stuffed small vegetables, Artichokes & Pork stew, Asparagus & Truffles, fried Zucchini flowers, Pine nuts tart…)
Scheduale This cooking experience starts at 9:30am & ends around 3:30pm and it takes place on Wednesday & Friday just about all year long.

Concerning transportation, getting to our family’s Mas is less than 10 minutes away from both town markets. You’ll either use your own vehicule following mine or use mine if requested. In that last case, I will drive you back in the afternoon.
Price & booking
Price is 165€ per person. It includes the market visit, wine tasting at the winery, cooking class & lunch, all food & wine. Transportation is free and upon request. The day runs starting with a group of 4. Maximum is 8. If your group is less than 4, send your message specifying the number, I often gather different groups. Send your dates availabity and party’s size. I will reply as soon as possible to confirm and send you a Paypal booking payment request for 30€ each. Last part of the payment is due by cash on the day we meet. Other option for that last payment is a second Paypal payment request the day before we meet. See you soon !
