Private Provence Wine Tours

Wine in Provence wine tours and more…

Widely considered the most beautiful corner of France, Provence stretches all the way from Arles and Avignon to the Italian border, anchored by the Mediterranean Sea. The region’s natural beauty, abundant sunshine, warm climate, local wines, pretty beaches, farm-to-table dining, 873 picturesque villages topped with ruins, market towns and medieval walled cities all go into the mix that makes Provence irresistible to both the French and to visitors from outside her borders.  Fields of lavender, rolling mountains of greenery and a sparkling Mediterranean backdrop-this is Provence, France. Aside from its postcard worthy scenery, Provence is a desired destination for wine lovers, most recognized for its rosé and white wines.

If you want to sample some of France’s finest wines amongst the beauty of the countryside, our private Provence wine tours are the perfect way to experience Provence in a fun, relaxed, intimate, English-speaking environment. Tour the wineries and taste the wines from wine regions in Provence and Côtes du Rhône including Aix-en-Provence, Cassis, Bandol, Les Baux de Provence and Saint Rémy and the world famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape. We are strategically located in Aix en Provence which allows us to service guests in cities such as Marseille and Avignon and others.

Provence Wine Tours from a cruise

When the world’s largest online cruise resource asked Wine in Provence for help putting together a guide for cruise passengers that would prefer a more intimate Provence wine tour experience, we happily agreed. We spent the day with senior editors of Cruise Critic (a subsidiary of TripAdvisor) sharing some of our perspective and advice and allowed them to see firsthand the possibilities for cruisers whether they are docked in Marseille or Toulon. We are honored that we were able to contribute to put together this wonderful resource and hope our fellow travellers find it helpful.

So if you are on a cruise coming into Provence this year and are looking for a private, more intimate wine tour instead of large bus tour offered by the cruise, check it out!
